Klay Thompson impressed Kobe Bryant and starred in two exhibition games in Los Angeles at a time when the Warriors guard’s agent is negotiating a lucrative contract extension.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers still won’t comment on the negotiations, but said Thompson’s hot start was expected.
“He’s been a rock in three years,” Myers said Friday after practice. “We’re not surprised by his continued development. It’s nice to see.
“We love him. We think he’ll be with us a long time.”
