This process never gets old for Andre Miller, entering his first full season with the Wizards at 38 and in the last year of his contract. No matter what this season holds, this isn’t a farewell for him as he plans on sticking around the NBA.
“I will. I feel good. If I didn’t feel good I’d say this would be the last year,” said Miller, who was acquired from the Denver Nuggets in a Feb. 20 trade and will play his first preseason game tonight at the Chicago Bulls (CSN, 8 p.m. ET). “I’ve done a good job in training camp, taking care of my body during the summer and keeping up with the younger guys so will see where we’re at towards the end of the season.”
