Karl Towns – 7’0, 248 lbs. Center (Kentucky, Fr.)
Strengths: Possesses the complete package for a “new-age” center with a wide-array of low post moves and the ability to stretch the floor with his jump shot as well. Great touch. High basketball IQ. Quality rim protector. Long and strong with a frame that could support additional weight.
Weaknesses: Still an unfinished product who is coming into his own and learning just how dominant he can be. Not an elite athlete. Lateral movement. Foul prone at times.
Yannis’ NBA Comparison: Marc Gasol
Anonymous Coach’s NBA Comparison: David Robinson (best case), Andrew Bynum (worst case)
Draft range projection: Top two
