Blazers find snake in locker room
In the hours ahead of Thursday’s playoff game at San Antonio, the Portland Trail Blazers dealt with an uninvited guest in their locker room — a large snake.
The varmint was discovered in the locker of forward Thomas Robinson, who jumped out of the way when he spotted it, according to trailblazers.com.
Portland guard Mo Williams subsequently posted photos of the snake on Instagram, adding, “We get in the lockerroom n its a damn snake, yea a snake in the lockerroom. Man we was scared as hell.”
The Trail Blazers were preparing for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals at AT&T Center against the San Antonio Spurs, who won the opener on Tuesday.
Following the snake’s appearance, the Blazers undoubtedly will be happy to return home for Game 3 on Saturday and Game 4 on Monday.
