Divac Says Kings Had Better Deal For Cousins Days Ago

On Monday afternoon, Vlade Divac spoke to the media about why the Kings elected to trade DeMarcus Cousins.

When asked why he didn’t wait closer to the deadline (Thursday at 12pm PT) to agree on a deal, Divac revealed something quite surprising.

“We most likely would get less because I had a better deal two days ago,” Divac declared.
