Atlanta Hawks forward Adreian Payne was ruled out from Saturday night’s game against the New York Knicks because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

Payne has not appeared in a regular season game.

The Hawks selected Payne in the first round of this year’s draft. He averaged 2.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in five preseason games.
