Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters experienced abdominal pain during the first half of Friday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
It was so problematic that he departed the arena for nearby Ochsner Medical Center for further testing.
The team says he will stay overnight for a thorough examination and an update on his status will be made over the weekend.
