(Bucks Coach Jason) Kidd was booed when he walked on the floor. During the national anthem, a fan shouted an insult the entire arena could hear.
The negative reaction intensified as Kidd was announced at the end of the Bucks’ starting lineups. And the heckling continued as he walked off the court for halftime. Kidd never acknowledged any of it.
“I have bad hearing anyway,” Kidd said. “Whatever the greeting was, it was about the players. People don’t pay to come see the coach. They come to see the guys play.”
