Lakers sign Harris to second 10-day contract
The Los Angeles Lakers signed guard Manny Harris to a second 10-day contract on Saturday.
Harris is averaging 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 20.9 minutes over five games with the Lakers this season.
Before signing his first 10-day contract with the Lakers on Jan. 16, Harris was with the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League. In 13 games with the D-Fenders, he averaged 30.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.1 steals while shooting 48.5 percent.
In 80 previous NBA games with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010-12, Harris averaged 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 17.4 minutes per game.
