Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Team News

Klay Thompson is inching closer towards his NBA return. According to Jack Maloney of CBS Sports, the sweet-shooting guard has received the green light to go 100 percent in practice as he ramps up preparation for a possible mid-December return.

“He’s cleared for full go, so everything we did was full 100 percent he was going. There was no holding him back. There was no pulling back, it was just letting him go and letting him experience playing all out. He did that, and he looked really good doing it… I think he made his first 18 shots,” Cooper told reporters.

The NBA named Devin Booker the Western Conference player of the week. Booker had played an instrumental role in another unblemished week for the Suns. Through the week, the All-Star averaged 30.0 PPG and 3.5 APG on .530/.560/.900 shooting in wins over San Antonio, Cleveland, New York, and Brooklyn.

Devin Booker recorded 30 points on a 9-for-18 shooting, and Chris Paul tallied 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in the winning cause. Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns Prediction

This marquee Western Conference matchup could provide fans a preview of a potential Western Conference finals showdown. It’s rare to see the Warriors heading into a game as the underdogs, but the Suns rightfully deserve the favorite tag because of their ongoing streak. In what many expect a back-and-forth game, the Warriors might have to dig deep in the bag of tricks again to pull off another narrow win on the road. No offense to the Suns, the Warriors have proven time and time again that they can rise up to the occasion when challenged. Golden State also holds the highest winning margin in the league at +13.7 points, including +9.7 points on the road. As for the total, the ideal pick appears to be OVER since these two teams rank inside the top-8 in PPG and FG%.
