The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Comedian Kevin Hart is a funny guy and he sets his sights on the Inside the NBA crew on TNT in this great spoof. We know those guys were all dying laughing, props to Hart for having no fear making fun of these guy’s well-known acts.

Great to see the NBA honor Thunder forward Kevin Durant on a great year with his first MVP award. When looking back (and not at Game 1 last night) Durant was the obvious winner for his splendid regular season heroics. Congrats to the new MVP as all his hard work has finally paid off with his own piece of hardware.

2013-14 Durant Highlight Mix

In honor of Durant getting the MVP, here’s a look back at some of the best highlights he posted to earn his new trophy.

YouTube of the Night

Just because the Thunder have the MVP on their team, it doesn’t make it any easier in the playoffs. Especially when you have to play Clippers guard Chris Paul. Check out this mix of Paul’s ridiculous eight three-pointers he nailed last night to bury the Thunder early and steal Game 1 in Oklahoma City.

Dunk of the Night

While Paul did the heavy lifting last night, Clippers forward Blake Griffin did his part too, including this monster slam. It just wasn’t the Thunder’s night as they fall behind 0-1 and will now have to depend on the MVP more than ever to compete with the red-hot Clippers.

Swag of the Night

A post shared by Damian Lillard (@damianlillard) on

You think Blazers guard Damian Lillard is ready for Game 1 against the defending Western Conference champs that is the Spurs? Yes, we have to think that title means nothing to Lillard either. Check out as the confidence oozes out of Damian with his impressive suit game.

Dime of the Night

Even though the Pacers got off to another disappointing start to a series by losing to the Wizards last night, at least some of their players tried to get them back in the game. One of those players was guard Lance Stephenson getting the steal and dishing a sweet behind-the-back pass to his teammate Paul George, who got the and-one on the other end.

YouTube of the Day

If you haven’t got to know Texas-commit and senior big man Myles Turner yet, you need to get on it. To help, here’s a highlight mix of some of his most impressive plays from his senior season. With his length, athleticism and offensive skill, Turner won’t be sticking around Texas more than a year as the NBA is already salivating for this talented young man.

Kicks of the Day

Two pair in one day. Be on the look out again. Congrats to @alrivas88 for finding the first pair

Only basketball royalty like HEAT guard Ray Allen should be allowed to own these awesome black, gold and white Jordan’s. Jesus Shuttlesworth doesn’t mess around when it comes to getting the best kicks.
