He (Paul Pierce) slowly walked off the court, rubbing his right shoulder. It’s the same shoulder that acted up in Friday’s loss to Boston, the same one that bothered him two days before that against Memphis.
Pierce did not return, joining Kevin Garnett (back) and later Andrei Kirilenko (ankle) on the hurting list. Afterward, Jason Kidd disclosed little about their status, describing Pierce and Kirilenko as “day to day.”
