Report: Lonzo Ball Expected to Return Wednesday

Los Angeles Lakers fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see LeBron James and Lonzo Ball take the court together in the preseason for the first time.
James and Ball will both be held out for rest in Saturday’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Lakers coach Luke Walton, but will “most likely” both play Wednesday in Las Vegas against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
Ball is recovering from offseason surgery on his left knee and has yet to make his preseason debut, sitting out the Lakers’ 1-2 start. James had played around 15 minutes in the first half of all three of those games, and was given the Clippers game off.
