Thunder F Ibaka misses game vs. Timberwolves
Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka sat out Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with right knee soreness.
Ibaka missed his first game of the season with the injury and is considered day-to-day.
Ibaka is averaging 14.3 points and 7.8 rebounds in 64 games this season and Friday was just the third regular-season game he missed since becoming a full-time starter in the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season.
Oklahoma City, which has dealt with injuries to guard Russell Westbrook and forward Kevin Durant, entered Friday a half-game behind the New Orleans Pelicans for the Western Conference’s eighth and final playoff spot.
