Cavs’ Irving: ‘That rage is still burning inside all of us’
The Cavs are 0-2 against the Warriors and Spurs and home wins would be a big part of finishing this season similarly to last season, when the Cavs won 34 of the last 43 games after being 19-20 on Jan. 13.
Blatt said the team is well aware of what happened at this point last season and Irving said the team still has the hunger they talked about heading into the season.
“We know what we have to take care of and that’s just being there for one another,” (Kyrie) Irving said. “That rage is still burning inside all of us. I know all of us share that and we definitely have a chip on our shoulder and we need that.”
