One day after clinching its first postseason berth in five seasons, the Utah Jazz will be without All-Star forward Gordon Hayward on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans because of a left quad contusion.
Hayward, 27, suffered the injury in Saturday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. X-rays taken after the game were negative.
