Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap will be rested for three weeks and will miss the first two preseason games following a procedure to reduce swelling in his right knee.

The Hawks say Millsap recently had “a preventative procedure” and will have “phases of rest and recovery” for the next three weeks before returning to full basketball activities.
