Warriors’ Green: If I Had Played in Game 5, We Win

Draymond Green believes the Golden State Warriors would already have the championship trophy had he not been suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and he is looking forward to trying to make history by winning the title on the Cleveland Cavaliers’ floor in back-to-back seasons.
“I have a strong belief that if I play in Game 5, we win. But I didn’t because I put myself in a situation where I wasn’t able to play,” Green said after watching the Cavs’ 112-97 victory from O.co Coliseum next to Oracle Arena while serving a suspension.
