(Anthony) Davis said his focus primarily is on what (Pelicans’ coach Alvin) Gentry needs from him to help the Pelicans make a stronger push in the Western Conference next season. To prepare, Davis said he has been working on all aspects of his game.
“I’ve been working on a little more conditioning, knowing that the tempo is going to be fast,” Davis said.
