2014 NBA Draft: Kendall Williams

Kendall Williams – New Mexico, Sr. Ht.: 6’4, wt.: 185 lbs. Strengths: Tall for his position. Great feel for the game. Quality distributor. Quick. Can hit the three. Weaknesses: Has to get stronger. Not an efficient scorer. Ball handling needs to improve to handle the caliber of defenders he’ll see at the NBA level.

2014 NBA Draft: Xavier Thames

Xavier Thames – San Diego State, Sr. Ht.: 6’3, wt.: 195 lbs. Strengths: One of the better defenders in the draft class. Long and a solid athlete. Can hit the three. Weaknesses: A little bit slight in frame. Undersized for a shooting guard. Not much of a playmaker.

LaQuinton Ross – Ohio State, Jr. Ht.: 6’8, wt.: 225 lbs. Strengths: Versatile. Good ball handler. Can hit the three. Solid rebounder. Significantly improved from sophomore to junior year. Weaknesses: Doesn’t always impact the game like he should. Defense. Doesn’t create much for others.

Johnny O’Bryant III – LSU, Jr. Ht.: 6’9, wt.: 250 lbs. Strengths: Strong and physical. Knows how to score in the low post. Good rebounder.  Can hit the mid-range jump shot. Weaknesses: Not a great athlete. Doesn’t always dominate like he’s capable of. Didn’t improve as hope as from sophomore to junior year.

Jordan McRae – Tennessee, Sr. Ht.: 6’5, wt.: 178 lbs. Strengths: Athletic. At his best off of the dribble. Has consistently improved over the last four years. Willing passer. Can hit the NBA three pointer. Weaknesses: Has to add a serious amount of muscle. Shot selection. Inefficient.
