As for the Heat and where they’re going, (Chris) Bosh knows as much — or as little — as everyone else at this point. It seems there’s an unofficial agreement between the Heat stars to table all talks of their uncertain future, a very practical pact born out of the fact that what they do in the now will likely determine where they are in the later. And while the basketball-loving world talks daily about what (LeBron) James might do and whether the band will be back, Bosh said it’s not a question he’ll ever ask James himself.
“I wouldn’t do that to him, because my answer (about his uncertain situation) would be ‘I don’t know,’ ” Bosh said. “The truth is that we don’t know, and I wouldn’t ask him. And even whatever he tells me, you’re not the same person now that you’re going to be in July. It’s just a matter of fact. You’re going to change.”
