(Brooklyn Nets) Deron Williams’ healthy start to the season came to an abrupt halt against the Cavaliers on Friday night.
Williams left the Nets’ 95-91 loss with a strained right calf, an injury that has him ticketed for an MRI exam to check its severity and find out whether or he’ll be able to take the floor Sunday against the Pistons at Barclays Center.
“No, not yet,” Williams said after the game when asked if he knew the severity. “I’m going to get an MRI [Saturday], but the doctor said it wasn’t too bad.”
