But (Nuggets GM Tim) Connelly, though disappointed in the outcome of last season, remains hopeful of regaining a healthy crew, especially with (Danilo) Gallinari.
“He looks great,” Connelly said. “If there was any silver lining in the atypical fashion in which we had his knee addressed is both legs are stronger than ever and is much farther along in his rehab than he would have been without his setback last season. He’ll be 100 percent in training camp.
“With any injury, there is a mental hurdle that he’ll have to overcome, but physically, we feel great about where he is. … He looks like he could play right now.”
