Syracuse freshman forward Chris McCullough is out for the season with a torn ACL in his right knee, the team announced Monday.

McCullough suffered the injury Sunday in the Orange’s 70-57 win over Florida State.

McCullough is Syracuse’s No. 2 rebounder (6.9 per game) and shot blocker (2.1) and is averaging 9.3 points per game.

Tyler Roberson, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, is expected to get increased minutes in the wake of McCullough’s injury.

Syracuse (12-4) hosts Wake Forest (9-8) on Tuesday.
