Top 25 roundup: Wisconsin wins in Kaminsky’s return
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin got back on the winning track with senior forward Frank Kaminksy’s return to the lineup Thursday.
Kaminsky scored 22 points to lead No. 7 Wisconsin to a 70-55 Big Ten win against Nebraska at Kohl Center.
Kaminsky suffered a concussion last week at Purdue and sat out Sunday as the Badgers’ eight-game winning streak came to an end in a 67-62 loss at Rutgers.
On Thursday, Kaminsky scored 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting in the first half.
Junior guard Terran Petteway scored a game-high 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting for Nebraska.
Arizona 68, Colorado 54
TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona took advantage of two Colorado starters out with injury and won despite a career night from Colorado guard Askia Booker.
With teammates Josh Scott and Xavier Johnson in street clothes, Booker scored 30 points, hitting 6 of 9 3-pointers.
Arizona got 20 points from freshman guard Stanley Johnson, 14 from center Kaleb Tarczewski and 12 from guard Elliott Pitts, who hit 4 of 7 3-pointers.
Booker scored 15 first-half points, but Arizona closed the half on a 12-4 run and led 35-25 at the break.
