Ryan Kelly came off the practice court Thursday, some 13 hours after calendars flipped to 2015, walked over to a clutch of reporters and declared, “New year, new man.”
But the Lakers can only hope 2015 brings better things for the second-year forward, who will be available to play Friday after missing all but three games this season due to a string of hamstring issues that culminated with a tear.
After six weeks of rehab, Kelly has been able to participate fully in practice without any warning signs.
