Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett sat out Monday’s 113-99 loss to the Boston Celtics, who he helped lead to the 2007-08 NBA title.

Garnett, who played only 10 minutes in Minnesota’s win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, was with the team in Boston and talked with Celtics staffers in the hallway outside the teams’ locker rooms before Monday’s game.
