UCLA coach Steve Alford is getting a one-year contract extension through the 2020-21 season one year after arriving in Westwood.
Alford guided the Bruins to a 28-9 record, the Pac-12 tournament title and the school’s first Sweet 16 appearance since 2008. He tied Gene Bartow (1975-76) for the most wins by any coach in his first season at the school.
