ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracket, Betting Odds, and Picks
The 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament is set to begin on March 8th. It is going to be a highly competitive ACC tournament this year; outside of Duke, there is really no clear-cut favorite. Whether it be the University of North Carolina, Notre Dame, Miami, Wake Forest, or other teams, there are a few teams who could potentially walk away as the conference tournament champions. This is going to be Mike Krzyzewski’s last ever ACC tournament, as it has been confirmed that he will retire after the season.

The Best NCAAB Bets for the 2022 ACC Conference Tournament
The Duke Blue Devils are the clear favorite in 2022. However, with the way that Miami has played for parts throughout the year, I don’t think it would be a bad idea to put some money on them.
Miami is only fourth in the ACC throughout the regular season, but they are 21-9 overall and 13-6 in the conference. They have played a few teams tough this year and I fully expect that to stay the same. Earlier in the year, Miami did beat Duke at their home court, which means that when it’s at a neutral site, there’s an even better chance they could win.
Duke would be the team that should get the most money put on them and would be considered the safe bet, but the Miami Hurricanes are not too far behind them and with their +1200 odds, it would definitely be a good idea to put some money on them.

ACC Tournament Favorite
Once again, Duke finds itself with the best odds to win the 2022 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Duke Blue Devils (-130)
Duke is the number one seed in the ACC regular season. They’re currently the number four team in the AP Top 25. The potential first overall pick of the 2022 NBA draft Paolo Banchero is currently averaging 16.9 points per game while shooting 46.5% from the field. Banchero has added 7.8 rebounds per game.
ACC Tournament Contenders
Next, we’ll break down a few other contenders with a chance to take home the crown in the ACC Tournament at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons (+900)
Wake Forest is currently the number five seed in the ACC conference with a 23-8 record. Wake Forest has been led by Alondes Williams, the senior guard is currently averaging 19.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and shooting over 50% from the field.
Miami Hurricanes (+1200)
The University of Miami is 21-9 overall and the current fourth seed in the ACC. They have an impressive win over the Duke Blue Devils earlier in the season, and have been led by Kameron McGusty. McGusty, the senior guard, is averaging 17.4 points per game while shooting 53.3% from the field.
ACC Tournament Sleepers
March Madness betting is right around the corner. With an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line, we’ll go over a few sleepers that have the potential to run the table and win the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+900)
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are currently third in the ACC. Debbie 21-9 overall record and our 14-5 on the year. The Fighting Irish are being led by freshman star Blake Wesley, who is averaging 14.9 points per game.
North Carolina Tar Heels (+1000)
The University of North Carolina is currently the second seed in the ACC. They have not been as good as this team normally is, but they still have a great chance to win the ACC tournament. The 22-8 Tar Heels have been led by Armando Bacot. The junior forward is averaging 16.4 points per game and 12.7 rebounds.
ACC Tournament Dark Horse
Every year, a dark horse emerges as a potential upset candidate. While Virginia hasn’t played as well as in years past, the Cavaliers can still save their season by doing some damage in the conference tournament.
Virginia Cavaliers (+1700)
The University of Virginia Cavaliers are currently in 7th place in the ACC. They are 17-12 on the year and 11-8 in the conference. Virginia is known for their star-studded defense, but they are being led by senior guard Jaden Gardner, who is averaging 15.5 points per game and seven rebounds.
2022 ACC Conference Tournament Prediction | Free College Basketball Picks
Because it is March, we can never go with a favorite to win one of these tournaments. I’m going to go with the University of Miami to win it all here.
Miami has been one of the best teams in the country and has had some very impressive wins throughout the year. There are obviously times when this team is a little bit inconsistent, as they have lost two out of their last four games including losses to both Virginia Tech, and Virginia. Throughout the year, Miami has wins against the University of North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse, Wake Forest, and a few other high-level opponents.
Kameron McGusty has played extremely well for this Hurricanes team this year as he’s currently averaging 17.4 points per game while shooting nearly 50% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range. I expect him to be able to carry this Miami Hurricanes team against some high-level ACC defenses.
