Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur and the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, joined The Fred Roggin Show to talk about Roger Goodell’s suspension of Adrian Peterson, looking the other way on off-the-court problems, competitive balance in the NBA, and more. While Cuban admits that 36 years old is not as old as it once was, thanks to better training programs and advanced in medical science, he also says that he hopes Kobe Bryant’s Lakers stay noncompetitive for a long time.

(Said Cuban:) As far as the Lakers go, I think there are going to be a lot of teams that are saying, “I’ve got a ton of cap room,” and signing three big free agents to come play for them. Los Angeles has always been considered a destination city, so maybe they feel that’s a valid strategy. You know me, Fred. Personally, I just hope they suck forever.
