New Orleans Pelicans vs Utah Jazz Team News
According to Christian Clark of NOLA.com, the Pelicans are still playing the waiting game on Zion Williamson as they wait for a foot specialist to determine the progress of its injury based on the results of the latest medical imaging. This season, the Pels star player has yet to log a single game because of a lingering right foot injury. Williamson has already begun participating in 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 games but hasn’t played 5-on-5 scrimmage up to now.
Zion Williamson has been playing 1 on 1, 3 on 3. Pels are waiting on the specialist to process latest round of scans. Should know the results in the next few days.

Andy Larsen of Salt Lake Tribune discussed Donovan Mitchell’s growing obsession with watching films to take his game to another level. The Jazz main guy wants to emulate the likes of Rajon Rondo, Tony Allen, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Damian Lillard, who are known around the league for spending hours breaking down plays in the film room.
Mitchell wants, most of all, the plays on the court where he’s simply smarter. “It’s about being able to put myself in situations where I don’t have to — don’t take this the wrong way — where I don’t have to work as hard,” he says.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Utah Jazz Preview
On Wednesday, the Pelicans claimed a morale-boosting win after pulling off an upset over the Washington Wizards, 127-102. The win served as New Orleans’ fourth of the season and third in the last seven games. Brandon Ingram scored 26 points and Jonas Valanciunas racked up a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. New Orleans scored 36 points each in the first two quarters on their way to a rare wire-to-wire win.
On Wednesday, the Jazz survived a tight game with the Oklahoma City Thunder, 110-104, to record their 12th win. Jordan Clarkson provided spark from the bench, finishing with 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting. Rudy Gobert corralled 17 rebounds and Bogdan Bogdanovic recorded 19 to top all starters in points. The game was tied at 101 with just over two minutes left in the game. Fortunately for the Jazz, Mitchell and Gobert managed to score some crucial points to seal the win.
New Orleans Pelicans vs Utah Jazz Prediction
The Jazz should have an easy time dispatching the Pelicans and covering a huge 13.5-point spread. Apart from dominating New Orleans 7-3 in the last 10 contests, Utah averaged 123.6 points per game and hounded the Pels to 116,0 points during that span. Moreover, Utah has the second-best average winning margin in the NBA at 8.9 points and 9.3 points at home. Though a 13.5-point handicap seems a bit of a tall order, the Jazz have proven in some games season that they can cover a double-digit spread easily.
