Utah’s Burke: We Experienced Growth in Road Trip
The moral victory of holding their own for three-and-a-half quarters against one of the NBA’s best teams wasn’t all the Jazz have to show for this road trip, which spanned two countries and five cities in seven days.
Utah held a fourth-quarter lead in all five games and picked up exciting wins at Detroit and New York.
“We grew a lot as a team this road trip. We were in pretty much every game,” Jazz point guard Trey Burke said. “So I think it’s definitely an eye-opener for us knowing we got better knowing we can compete with some of the better teams in the league.”
