“I think when you play a whole summer of USA Basketball and you miss 50-some shots and only hit one 3-pointer the entire time, I think that kind of eases your nerves a little bit, knowing it can’t get any worse,” he said. “That’s probably the worst you’ll ever see me shoot, so I can only go up, and that’s the only thing I could care about.
“I think playing in the USA games calmed my nerves a little bit, so I’m just ready to play. I’ve been preparing for this for a long time and y’all should be able to see it.”
